Ethnic Background
Overall health, well-being and quality of life before medical cannabis
I had pancreatitis for 8 years which ended up needing 3 pancreatic surgeries called a Peustow, Whipple, and a Pancreatectomy. Over 35 stents were attempted to be placed in the pancreas without success. Then I had a left bilateral ankle fracture and was very mistreated by the VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Before cannabis I had so much pain that I was unable to walk or eat very well. After taking cannabis I can live a somewhat of a normal life with pain but not as bad.

Patient Process
Path to cannabis
It was suggested for pain nausea and vomiting from a serious medical condition called Pancreatitis which I had for 8 years before having my pancreas taken out in 2004

Every type of Cannabis I have tried. I prefer RSO 1:1 THC:CBD Edibles and flower
Patient Experience
How Cannabis has had an impact on patient's day to day life
With CRPS it is a burning neurological disorder that has many consequences to the body and causes burning throughout my spinal cord and left foot all throughout the day. When I use Cannabis the burning sensations lesson as well as the brain calms down. I also notice my anxiety easing and I am able to travel better as well as be in certain public situations. My PTSD becomes easer to manage
Under Doctor's Supervision?
Yes
Additional doctor supervision information
I provide my physician with labels and packages of what I am doing to provide medical research to my medical team so we can have a better open discussion about how Cannabis has been so helpful. I have been able to get off all Opioids due to using Cannabis and I am beyond grateful to have it versus taking over 30 pills a day.
Discontinued Medication
Yes
Additional info about discontinued medication
All Opioids have been stopped as well as bone induction and growth medicine shots have stopped and I have been able to create a program called Feed My City which encourages people from all over the world to grow Organic Produce and Donate it to your local Food Banks. I grow for the largest food bank in Oregon Neighbor Impact and (HDFA) High Desert Food Alliance

Additional info about medical Cannabis experience
Thankfully Colorado and Oregon are states that are legal and I wish all 50 states would jump on board because this medicine has truly not only saved my life, it has given me a new chance at a life that can be lived with happiness versus pain and depression from the pain nausea and vomiting as well as lack of movement.
