Depression and anxiety led me to isolation and I spent long periods of time not communicating with anyone. One can't live in a vacuum, so I reached out to street drugs, which eventually lead me to homelessness.
Overall health, well-being and quality of life before medical cannabis
Depression and anxiety would keep me isolated and inactive as well as pain from the accident—> keep awake and unable to sleep and rest. Cannabis has helped a lot.

I prefer using CBD to treat my pain and depression, as it doesn't cause me to get lethargic in the morning, the way THC does. Although when my depression is really bad and I get "monkey mind", the THC helps me concentrate, mono-focus.
While I prefer THC for my addiction, and that case I prefer to smoke a joint to handle my cravings.

Additional info about medical Cannabis experience
If it wasn't for having cannabis accessible I would not be able to maintain living without other drugs that would be more harmful to me. When on street drugs, I crashed from being a successful person with a nice house to years and years of being homeless in EastVan. This was in 40's and 50's, being in my 60's now I don't think I could survive another episode with street drugs. I consider cannabis to be a life saver.
